When Wellington College International School Bangkok reached out to discuss a ski trip not too far from home, with the goal of challenging themselves, trying something new, and making unforgettable memories, Nagano in Japan was our immediate suggestion!Over the course of the trip, students of all ability levels - from complete beginners to experienced skiers - spent hours on the slopes with professional instructors, developing their technique, building confidence, and enjoying the adrenaline rush from skiing! The group had access to high-quality equipment and stayed in a fantastic hotel with excellent facilities, providing a safe and comfortable base for their adventure.Beyond skiing, the itinerary included some of the most memorable cultural experiences of the journey. Students visited the iconic Snow Monkey Park, observing Japanese macaques relaxing in natural hot springs - a real unique and memorable wildlife encounter. They also spent time exploring Tokyo, discovering the city’s vibrant streets, rich culture, and iconic sights, which gave the students a taste of Japan beyond the slopes. Both experiences were standout moments, offering exciting, new perspectives we always love to include in a Premiership Experience adventure.The trip offered much more than just skiing skills.
